We don’t yet know your name, or your circumstances, but we feel respect and admiration for you as you consider adoption. You are a very brave woman. This can be a difficult time in your life, but by sharing it with you, we want to give you confidence that the child you are bearing will be welcome with open arms into a loving family.

Brett and Shelby

Let us start by saying thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and hopefully convince you that we are the answer to your difficult decision. We are Brett and Shelby. We met at work and were great friends as well as each other’s greatest competition. After 3 years we realized our friendship could be so much more, so we started dating. We were married the following year in Disney’s Celebration Florida. Since family is the most important thing to us, we had only our immediate family at the wedding. The maid of honor was Shelby’s mom and the best man was Brett’s brother. It was a big vacation for all of us, and the most amazing day of our lives thus far. 

James and Laura

We are Laura and James (Jimmie). Our story starts back in 1992 when Jimmie’s sister introduced us to each other. Our first official date was at Laura’s prom. We remained good friends for the next 12 plus years until we finally married in October of 2005. Over the past few years we seemed to have come to a crossroad in life. We would love to be parents and have a family, yet we struggle with infertility. With open arms and a warm caring heart we welcome your child into our lives and our home.

David and Kellie

Only one word comes to mind, thank you. Thank you for your unselfish decision and thank you for taking the time to read our letter. Although we cannot possibly understand what you are going through, we do appreciate your courage, and are in awe of your bravery. It has been quite a journey getting here; however, we both feel this is where we are meant to be.

Felipe and Soraya

Hi. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our letter. We are Felipe and Soraya. We are very excited at the thought of being parents through adoption. It has been our dream for many years to start our family but I was unable to conceive. I always wanted to adopt, so it was just the next natural step. We have so much to offer; a loving home, strong faith in God, loving supportive family, support from friends and also financial stability.

Our love is outstretched to you in the hopes of taking this journey together and surrounding you with the support and encouragement that you will need along the way.  Although we are unable to conceive, we have always known we wanted to have a family together and look forward to being parents.  The subject of adoption was a natural part of our family-building discussions as we have many friends who have amazing adoption stories, and Adam grew up with step-siblings so we are very familiar with the bond of love outside of a genetic connection.

We can only imagine the difficulty of the decision you are facing, and are not only respectful, but also grateful to you for choosing life and adoption for this baby. We are hopeful that by getting to know us you will feel how much love we have to give to this baby. Adoption is very near and dear to our hearts as there are several cousins in our family who are adopted and so loved by our family. We have always wanted two children and are excited to expand our family by adoption because of all the love we have to share.

We are truly happy in our life together as a family. However, we feel that we have more love to give. Our hearts are filled with longing for another child that we know would be a blessing to our family. Even before we met, we knew that we wanted a large family. We know that our hearts were made for many children and are excited to experience the miracle of adoption once again.
