I highly respect your decision for an adoption plan. The respect and gratitude for you will be instilled in the upbringing of your child, I promise. I will ensure the child develops into a healthy and happy adult, which includes understanding of her/his adoption story. The conversation about adoption will develop, change and grow along with your child. I will always be ready to discuss adoption honestly. I will start out from the beginning with a clear plan, lay the foundation by teaching the child what adoption is, and gradually share more age-appropriate information until the child reaches a full understanding, and continue the process throughout her/his life. Should you choose, you are welcome to participate in the process.
I have always believed that adoption is a great way to create a family. Two of my cousins adopted kids, and I witness how much love they give to and receive from the children. We could not be happier that they are a part of our family, as they bring so much joy to all us. Also, I have two close friends who were adopted, needless to say they are one of the biggest supporters of creating a family with adoption. It is very reassuring to see the love they exude when talking about adoption.
I grew up in a very loving and generous family, and kindness and empathy were instilled in me from childhood. Also, my family let me be and follow my inclinations. I love reading. The weekend mornings are my favorite as I don’t wake up with an alarm. I grab a cup of coffee and read for an hour before the real day begins. I love music and often go to see plays. I keep active by taking group fitness classes and playing ping pong. I participate in events to raise money for various causes, from an art exhibit to a walk. I can’t wait to spoil right and indulge in experiencing life together as a family. And while having a good time, to find the best ways to instill the values that were instilled in me.
Inevitably, my lifestyle will influence the child’s upbringing, and yet my North star will be to create a nurturing environment and follow the child’s interests and inclinations and ensure a safe and loving home, filled with joy and laughter, and feel the happiness in the air.
I grew up in a very generous, gracious, kind and inclusive family. I am the youngest of three and grew up with very loving and protective older sister and brother. We had the best childhood, filled with much mischief, laughter, summer camps and vacations. Our parents endured a lot of mischief. I can always count on my family to cheer me up in tough moments and make me feel better. Also, I indulge greatly in being the cool aunt and confidant to my three nieces and nephew.
While at school, my parents enabled me to experience many things so that I can decide for myself what would I like to do in life. While music and reading are my safe “go to” place, I am very studios too. I obtained Master’s degree in both Accountancy and Business Administration. I am fortunate to work for a company that invests in finding cures for rare diseases and see the positive impact on patients’ health and their families.
I live in a city, which is located in the northern outskirts of Chicago. I love that the city is very close to the pulsing heart of Chicago and yet it has the vibe of an old authentic town.
I live in the uptown area and get to experience all activities that the city has to offer. I can walk up to the four-story library and have a coffee chat with a friend on the roof top of the library, or catch a movie, play or a class without any hassle. While the city offers a lot of entertainment for adults, there is plenty to do for the kids too.
The city is known for its parks and lakes. The park district offers various recreational activities for kids during all seasons, from hockey and ice-skating to sailing and aquatics. The water park, ice-skating ring and golf course are within a one mile radius from where I live.
My family is my best friend in life. They are my sounding board and biggest supporter of all my endeavors, even if my endeavors do not always resonate with them. I was raised by very kind and generous parents, who instilled in us the importance of a cohesive family and helping others, as life is a full circle. I am a proud aunt to three nieces and a nephew. It fills my heart to see how kind and thoughtful they are, and I value my friendship with all of them. It is a great honor when they reach out to me for an advice and perspectives.
Sadly, we lost our mother last year. She loved to spoil us as kids, and then her grandkids. Her sense of humor was infectious, and we love quoting her in honor of her life.

One of my favorite memories is dinners at my grandparents’ house. I was always looking forward to see and play with my cousins. Now, my parents host dinners almost every Sunday and I look forward to seeing my nieces and nephews, even if it is virtually.
My family takes birthday celebrations very, very seriously. Typically, we’ll have a dinner celebration at home, and a celebration at a restaurant. We’ll make sure to bring Birthday decorations for the table at the restaurant, bring our own favorite cake, and most certainly sing! We have an annual summer ping pong tournament that my family takes very seriously! Sadly, I have never won any!
I used to be a DJ! I worked as a DJ at a radio station while in High School and college. If I haven’t pursued my inclination for numbers, I would have become a famous DJ, hopefully!
I love numbers, music and reading! I can’t explain my love for analyzing numbers, music and reading at the same time, but I do know that it keeps me grounded and happy all the time. Happy and positive by nature is what describes me best!
